Rights and responsibilities of students

Rights and responsibilities are the two sides of the same coin. With the rights comes the responsibilities. Student rights and responsibilities are interrelated. Students after getting the rights shouldn't forget their own responsibilities. As rights, responsibilities are equally important in a students life.

Students rights are those rights which allows students to make use of their educational investment. The rights include right to education, free speech, equality, autonomy, safety and privacy, etc. These are some of the rights of the student. A student has to get these rights to fulfill their dreams. He/She will be able to get success in life.

Student has many responsibilities to fulfill for their school, family, society and finally for the whole nation. Some of the responsibilities of students are attendance and participation, not publishing or distributing course materials, submission of written work on proper time, etc. A student shouldn't do plagiarism which means the theft of someone else's idea and work. A student mustn't copy other students work, computer programs or parts of programs or exams. He/She shouldn't wish to submit the same or similar work in more than one course.

So, there is relationship between rights and responsibilities of a student. Without the rights, responsibilities can't be performed and without responsibilities there is no use of rights.
